My name is Brian Carter from Eastbourne, East Sussex.  I have been married for 42 years to my wife Carole.  We have four sons, the oldest who is married and has two children.  Our youngest son married in 2010 and has two children.

I have been a member of St. Mary's Church, Eastbourne for 35 years, and I am their Bible Society and Christians in Sport Representative.

I no longer play active sports (my favourites were golf, tennis, and table tennis) as my level has fallen since I have grown older, but I am still an active dancer and an armchair sports follower.

I started folk dancing in the 1990's, and I am the Treasurer and occasional Caller for the Eastbourne Folk Dance Club, and an active dancer.
